Stellar Blade's Festive Holiday Update: A Cozy Christmas in Xion

Get ready for a festive makeover in Stellar Blade! Shift Up is bringing the holiday cheer to Xion with a new event launching December 17th, featuring Christmas-themed costumes, decorations, and a brand-new mini-game.

Deck the Halls with New Holiday Outfits

Eve and other characters receive stylish holiday attire. Dress Eve as Santa, equip the Drone with a Rudolph pack, or give Adam a "I'm No Santa" outfit. Complete Eve's look with a Santa Girl hairstyle and accessories like Snow Crystal Glasses, Wreath Earrings, and Sleigh Ear Cuffs.

Xion Transforms for the Holidays

Xion undergoes a festive transformation, adorned with warm lights and red, green, and white decorations. The Last Gulp and Eve's camp also receive the holiday treatment, enhanced with new seasonal background music ("Dawn (Winter)" and "Take me away") to create a relaxing atmosphere.

A new mini-game adds to the holiday fun! While details are scarce, it involves shooting targets on a holiday drone for special rewards.

Control Your Festive Fun

A new option lets players manage seasonal content, including the Nier:Automata DLC. In the game's Settings under Gameplay, you can adjust "Seasonal Event Content" to:

• Auto: Automatically enables or disables seasonal content based on the season.
• Disable: Deactivates seasonal content regardless of the season.
• Enable: Activates seasonal content regardless of the season.

Note: Changing this setting requires a game restart.

Mixed Reactions

While many fans are excited, some have expressed concerns about the frequency of event updates in a single-player game with a relatively short playtime (around 30 hours). The need to restart the game to fully experience seasonal content is also a point of contention.
