Price of Glory: War Strategy Rolls Out its Open Alpha Test in Select Regions

Marauder Tech Games launches the open alpha test of its tactical medieval fantasy game, Price of Glory: War Strategy. This turn-based strategy game features head-to-head duels set in a harsh, visually stunning world.

Gameplay Overview:

The game unfolds across diverse and challenging terrains, from arid deserts to dense forests and volcanic arenas. Players strategically deploy troops, advance their armies, and make critical tactical choices to defend their stronghold and overcome enemy defenses. A diverse roster of units is available, including scouts for reconnaissance, powerful knights for assaults, and healers for support.

Asynchronous gameplay allows for thoughtful planning, with a 24-hour turn limit. For faster-paced action, a five-minute blitz mode is also included.

Price of Glory caters to various play styles:

• Skirmish Mode: Offers low-stakes battles for testing strategies and experimenting with different unit combinations.
• Tournaments: Features single-elimination brackets and offers significant prizes. These include free-to-play "Salt Tournaments" where players earn in-game currency (Salt Crystals) through ads or simple tasks to enter cash tournaments with real-world rewards.

Resource Management:

Animo is the primary resource used for unit recruitment, movement, attacks, and special abilities. The limited Animo per turn necessitates careful decision-making, particularly in player-versus-player encounters.
