Farlight 84's "Hi, Buddy!" Expansion: Adorable Pets, Map Overhauls, and More!
The highly anticipated "Hi, Buddy!" expansion for Farlight 84 has arrived, introducing a host of exciting new features. The update centers around a charming Buddy System, alongside map revamps and engaging new events.
Meet Your Buddies!
The star of the show is the introduction of Buddies – cute and helpful companions that join you on the battlefield. There are two categories: Common Buddies and the more powerful Archon Buddies.
Common Buddies, readily available for capture, possess useful abilities. Archon Buddies, rarer finds, boast significantly more impactful powers. You'll need Buddy Orbs to acquire these companions, which are scattered throughout the map and can also hold up to six tactical items.
Ten Buddies are currently available, including common Buddies like Buzzy, Morphdrake, Petal Peeper, Smokey, Snatchpaw, Squeaky, Sparky, and Zephy. Archon Buddies include the Time Dominator (capable of manipulating the Safe Zone) and the Storm Empress (who summons powerful tornadoes).

Beyond the Buddies!
The Sunder Realms map has received a significant upgrade, featuring new terrain, structures, and landmarks. Expect to navigate ramps, utilize improved building cover, and discover unique elements like giant duck statues and floating boulders.
A new Tactical Core system allows you to enhance your hero's abilities using Trait points earned through leveling up. However, Trait Activation Cards are required to maximize these abilities.
The Buddy Showdown and Rare Consolidation Event are also live, offering attractive rewards such as skins and loot boxes.
