At the heart of this quest lies a sinister challenge orchestrated by the mysterious clown, Chuckles. This guide offers a detailed walkthrough to help you master the Carnival of Doom, outsmart Chuckles, and claim your victory. Let's dive in!

How to Navigate to the Carnival of Doom Quest in Once Human

Before we embark on the journey, let's glance at an overview of the quest:

Quest Name: Carnival of Doom
Quest Type: World Task
Recommended Level: 10
Location: Junkyard in Broken Delta, southwest of Meyer’s Market
Objective: Defeat Chuckles in a rigged game of Russian Roulette

These are the official details for the Carnival of Doom quest. Even if the recommended level is 10, skilled players can tackle it at lower levels. To kick off the quest, head to the Junkyard POI southwest of Meyer’s Market. Be prepared to face Rosetta soldiers; ensure your weapons are fully upgraded to take them down efficiently with minimal damage.

Once you initiate the quest, you'll be transported to a surreal, toy-like dimension where Chuckles reigns supreme. Your main goal is to beat him in a game of Russian Roulette, but beware—it's rigged. Here's how you can outsmart him:

  1. Avoid Immediate Engagement: Don't rush into the game with Chuckles. Engaging right away leads to certain defeat due to the rigged setup.
  2. Activate Spacetime Vision: Hit 'Q' to activate your Spacetime Vision. This will reveal a cable connected to the roulette table, leading to a hidden area.
  3. Trace the Cable: Follow the illuminated cable to a wall, behind which you'll find another figure resembling Chuckles manipulating the game.
  4. Request a Break: Go back to Chuckles and select the dialogue option for needing fresh air. He'll unlock a door, allowing you access behind the wall.
  5. Confront the Deceptive Clown: Navigate through the unlocked door to the room where the second Chuckles operates the cheating mechanism. Since firearms are disabled here, switch to a melee weapon, approach stealthily, and take him down.
  6. Disable the Cheating Device: After defeating the second Chuckles, interact with the Roulette Cheating Device to disable it, ensuring a fair game.
  7. Challenge Chuckles Again: Return to the main area and accept Chuckles' challenge again. This time, pull the trigger yourself. With the cheating mechanism off, you'll have the upper hand, leading to Chuckles' defeat.

Quest Rewards

Completing the quest grants you the following rewards:

  • Energy Link: x200
  • Experience Points: x500
  • Stellar Planula: x7
  • Eclipse Cortex Lv. 2: x1
  • Voodoo Doll Deviation – A unique item that can absorb a portion of incoming damage or redirect it to enemies when deployed.

For an enhanced gaming experience, consider playing Once Human on a larger screen using your PC or laptop with BlueStacks, along with your keyboard and mouse for more precise control.
