Bright Memory: Infinite is coming to mobile with a surprisingly low price tag

by Liam Jan 25,2025

Bright Memory: Infinite, the high-octane action shooter sequel to Bright Memory, is launching on iOS and Android on January 17th for the surprisingly affordable price of $4.99. This mobile port boasts impressive graphics for a smartphone game and delivers the fast-paced, action-packed gameplay the series is known for.

While its predecessor sparked some debate, Infinite has generally received positive feedback on other platforms, particularly for its intense action sequences. However, opinions on other aspects are more varied. Despite this, the $4.99 price point makes it a compelling option. The game appears well-polished and offers a satisfying shooter experience. Check out the trailer below to see if it's for you.

A Solid Middle-of-the-Road Experience

Bright Memory: Infinite isn't a groundbreaking graphical marvel (some have jokingly compared it to particle effects having their own game), nor does it revolutionize shooter narratives. However, it's visually appealing and competently made.

Interestingly, developer FQYD-Studio's game isn't currently topping any must-play lists. Considering the primary criticism on Steam was its price, the $4.99 mobile price is remarkably reasonable.

Based on previous comments from Dave Aubrey in 2020, Bright Memory's graphical capabilities weren't expected to be underwhelming; the question lies in its other aspects.
